Swiss American Racing Masters Team

The Swiss American Racing Masters Team will focus on  road racing events with the intent of training efficiently in order to race effectively.  The Swiss American Masters Team was created to consolidate and better organize our current members while attracting new members.

In general, our goals will be  to keep riding fun, to help our teammates reach the podium and help our teammates reach the highest level of fitness possible.  Further, we will support and represent Swiss American Racing LTD., in a positive manner at all times. A plan to reach these goals includes the opportunity for members to take advantage of coaching from Wenzel Coaching by Brian Forbes.  Further, Brian will help organize, coach and ride with the Masters Team during our weekly Saturday morning rides and coach the team during masters races.

The success of the team includes your participation.  While not mandatory, we recommend you take advantage of Wenzel Coaching's discounted monthly training plans through Brian Forbes.  The idea is to have all or most of the guys who want to race together be filtered through the same coach to facilitate more effective training.  Further, we highly encourage you to join us on our Saturday morning training rides.  These rides will be focused training rides under the direction of Coach Forbes to isolate strengths-weaknesses and to get to know each others riding styles.  Lastly, we ask you support the team's effort to reach our goals by racing with the team during the season.

We are looking for guys who want to train together consistently, have a grounded and positive attitude and are willing to ride as a team during training and racing events.

Help Support Family of Swiss American Racing Cyclist Critically Injured At El Tour

Swiss American Racing asks your support in giving a Gift to the family of Gary Stuebe, the
cyclist who is in a coma at St Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona as a result of being hit by a motorist in the 2008 El Tour de Tucson.
Gary’s friend, Gene Landers, who was also involved in the collision, informed El Tour that Gary has health insurance but obviously has not worked in almost four weeks and his wife, Angela, has also been unable to work. The family needs help with monthly utility bills and food for their children. If everyone could just give $10.00 it would help them tremendously.

Support checks to the GARY STUEBE MEDICAL FUND can be given by going into any Bank of America in the United States.  Or, you may call your local branch of Bank of America to find out their mailing address and send your support for the GARY STUEBE MEDICAL FUND to that address.

Latest update from=2 0Gene is: “Gary opened his eyes briefly yesterday. He is on dialysis but I asked him to blink his eyes if he could hear me. He did!”
